This product will meet your child's needs once they have outgrown our Second Step swaddle, designed for newborns.
Not everyone knows that, even before birth, a baby begins adapting to their parents' day-and-night rhythm. When the baby is born, however, their sleep pattern is not yet regulated. A swaddle offers a way to organise the baby's sleep–wake cycle by recreating the conditions the newborn already knew in the womb.

How is the Second Step swaddle different from other swaddles?

The Sleepee swaddle is the stretchiest product of its kind on the market. Its 8% elastane content allows your baby to move freely while maintaining a snug wrap. Unlike most products of this type available on the market, the inside of our swaddle has no looped texture (it does not look like the reverse side of a sweatshirt), so it does not irritate your baby's sensitive skin.

How to choose the size?

Your baby's weight is the measurement to use when choosing a swaddle for your little one. The Second Step swaddle fits babies weighing 6.5–9 kg. Do not choose by your baby's age or length: the swaddles are designed to do their job, but this will happen only when the swaddle is the right size. Remember that babies are born at different weights. A proper snug wrap, even one that seems a little too tight to you, will bring the desired results and help your little one feel as though they are in a familiar, comforting environment.

If your baby starts rolling onto their tummy, it is time to stop using the Second Step swaddle closed, with their arms inside. However, its detachable sleeves allow it to become a stretchy sleeping bag! And if your little one loves sleeping in a swaddle, the next step is our snug Third Step sleeping bag!

The matching-colour hat included with the swaddle completes this beautiful set, giving your little one extra snugness and thermal comfort. The specially designed fastening also makes it much easier to fasten the swaddle on your baby: first close the snap below the neck, then fasten the zip from the bottom.
